While using a mobile phone, the human body absorbs some of the radio waves. The power of radio waves from a mobile phone is fortunately very low (maximum 0.1 to 2 Watt) and gives only negligible heating for the human body.
Suppose you are concerned about radio waves from a cell phone, and you would like to reduce their emission level when using your gadget. In that case, the World Health Organization recommends the following: hands-free calling, limiting the number and duration of calls, and using the phone in areas with good coverage. Because with good coverage, a mobile phone does not have to transmit as loudly to send the radio signal to the nearest antenna. This also clarifies the importance of a well-distributed antenna park: with sufficient antennas in range, telephones need to “work less hard.” This decreases exposure to radio waves.
