Meet the Jury – Part 2

The 5G Hub Innovation Challenge continues to proudly present its jury for the 2022 Sustainability Edition. These talented and experienced specialists will provide valuable feedback to our contestants throughout the competition. Meet Anne van Wijchen and Piet van der Wielen.

Anne van Wijchen

Anne van Wijchen is High Tech Campus’ Sustainability Manager. She’s directly involved in the Sustainable Campus project, focusing on CO2 reduction, circular economy, and biodiversity. One of the High Tech Campus’ goals is to be completely gas-free by 2030. For Anne, a fantastic example of a sustainable solution is the 3D Foodprinter of HTCE’s ByFlow. The application prints meals out of food waste.

Piet van der Wielen

Piet van der Wielen is an advisor and program manager starting and growing companies for Brainport Development NV, Eindhoven’s local economic development agency. He has set up several initiatives for the Brainport region, such as The Gate and MKB Financieringsgids (SMS Financial Guides). He is also in charge of the finance tables and the meet-and-match between Brainport start-ups and the CEOs of the large family offices in the Brainport region.
